left my solution bottle open? should i go buy a new one?
i was in a rush this morning and i forgot to close the lid of my solution bottle.
is it okay if i still use it, it's one of those squeeze bottle things.
I don't really know who used the bathroom because i was at school and when i got home i found out that i forgot to close the cap.
Is it still okay to use it?
i have my contacts in the solution right now so yeah.
and can someone clarify this for me?
i have really bad eyesight and my friend who has good vision told me that her eyes are fine even after a year and a half of circle lenses everyday whereas, everyone else have told me that they damage your eye and that your vision declines over a few months.

Hi there,
The risk of using your CL solution bottle with the lid left opened... is contamination. You've left it open in the bath room for a few hours... the risk of contamination from bugs in the air would be low.
If you continue to use it, just be cautious if you get any stinging or redness or irritation.
Otherwise, if you're really concerned, discard it and get a new bottle.
As for contact lens wear... follow your Optometrist/Ophthalmologist instructions... other people can risk their sight/eyes with 'over-wearing' their lenses... it's not recommended.. as infection can damage your eyes forever.
