Need help with teen weight loss plan.?
I am 17, 5 ft 2 inches and 150lbs.
I need to lose 30 lbs over the next 3 months so I need a grocery shopping list and daily workout plan for ten lbs a month thanks. ![]()
By the way I do 3 sports
-Tennis (September-November)
-Basketball Cheer (November-January)
-XC Skiing (December-February)
And things I have at home that might help is the jillian michaels 30day shred dvd, wii fit with board, a track to run on, a huge trampoline, yoga mat and a weight lifting bench (my dads).

If possible, go for organic/natural foods.
~ Greek yogurt or yogurt (nonfat) - Greek yogurt has more protein than regular yogurt
~ Eggs, cheese, cottage cheese (2% is fine), goat cheese, skim milk or goat milk, etc.
~ Vegetables
~ Fruit & Berries
~ Beans (chickpeas, black beans, kidney beans, mixed beans, etc.) - full of fiber and protein
~ Veggie burgers (Amy's makes great veggie burgers)
~ Multigrain bread, ezekiel bread, rye bread, whole wheat pitas, whole grain tortillas or bagels, etc.
~ Whole grain pasta or brown rice pasta, brown/wild rice, quinoa, etc.
~ Sweet potatoes or potatoes
~ Hummus
~ Oatmeal
~ Healthy cereals (Kashi, Nature's Path Organic, etc..high in fiber like raisin bran)
~ Nuts, seeds, almond butter, peanut butter
~ Non-dairy milks like soy, almond or rice milk
~ Ground flax seed to add into a smoothie, top yogurt, etc.
~ Olive oil
~ Salmon & Tuna
~ Tofu & Tempeh
~ Whole grain crackers
~ Whole grain waffles
For healthier snack or treat foods you can try fat free all natural popcorn or sweet potato chips, organic fruit juices, dark chocolate, frozen yogurt, etc
Remember to drink plenty of water
Try green tea, as well as water with lemon (cleansing for your body). Avoid things like sodas, diet drinks/sodas, artificial colors/sweeteners, white flour.
* For your work out you could try a daily brisk walk =) It's very healthy and can definitely help you reach your goals. You could also try taking a yoga or pilates class a few times a week, or buying an at home tape. You can use your jilian michaels dvd also, along with your wii fit, running track, and jumping on the trampoline sounds so fun =) lol
